Marta Strobach is an elementary principal with the Canutillo Independent School District. Ms. Strobach has served Deanna Davenport Elementary for the past six years as Campus Principal and Instructional Leader. Deanna Davenport Elementary School was built in the Westway area, and it was the second elementary school in the Canutillo community.
With more than 23 years of educational experience ranging from special education self-contained MR classroom to adult education (GED), Ms. Strobach has served in three of the urban districts in El Paso area teaching self containing classrooms for 12 of those years. She extended her expertise to include special education, physical education for disabled students, and bilingual programs. In her eleven years as an instructional administrator, Marta Strobach held various positions including District Lead Teacher, Assistant Principal and Principal; and she contributed to the supervision and implementation of several grants at the district level. In addition, Ms. Strobach provided professional development for differentiated instruction, bilingual education, and academic language development to teachers in the Canutillo District, Ysleta District and through several presentations at local, state and national conferences. Ms. Strobach has worked as a special education teacher with El Paso Independent School District, as a Bilingual/ESL Teacher with Ysleta Independent School District, and as an educational administrator with the Canutillo Independent School District.
Marta Strobach holds a B.S. in Education, a MEd. in Educational Technology and the Administrative Certification; all her degrees were earned from the University of Texas at El Paso. Ms. Strobach is a proud Miner!
